Storage Auctions

Do any of your storage auctions provide “food” for the auction?

In my area several of them will put out cookies or donuts and bottled water. Guess they think the way to the buyer's wallet is through the stomach?

You?

Naw, around here for some reason they treat auction buyers like second class citizens.

In the summer months some of them provide water but never food. One buyer said a couple weeks ago at a rather long auction that next time he was bringing an ice chest and selling sandwiches. Most thought that was a great idea.

There is one facility here in Temple that serves donuts and coffee.

Most places around here don't.  However, every now and then one of the ladies will make cookies, a pound cake, etc. and put it on the counter for when we check-in.  I have bought a coke/water for 3 of the young ladies that run one of the saturday auctions.  For the most part the auctions don't last long enough to bother.  The caravan auctions we all sort of stop at the same gas station for coke/snacks and is the unoffical "break point" during the run.
