Doors!

Ok. So I was at an auction. This unit came up it was obviously a construction companies unit. There were about 50 nice interior doors and a couple sets of glass french doors and a couple random cabinets. This auction was a sealed bid auction. I won it for $282. I probably way over bid cause everyone looked at me like I was crazy saying stuff like oh construction is down and blah blah I knew I could make good money on these doors so I wanted to make sure I won it. Well after about a week of selling them on craigslist mostly in groups of 8-12. I totaled about $1250 bucks on that unit with a profit of about a grand!

Do you know that it's illegal to "talk down" or otherwise make comments that are meant to discourage others from bidding?

Oh yea? I can see while the auction was happening but what about right after there is a winner?

Why would you do so after the auction was over?
What's the purpose of telling everyone how bad things are?
Would it be to make them think that you just made a bad purchase, so they wouldn't bid against at another one in the future? If so, isn't that about the same thing?

No sorry I think you misread my post or a mistyped it. I was saying everyone else after I won it said those other things about how construction is down and I won't be able to sell the doors! Sorry for the confusion!
