Has anyone ever had an accident in a rented box truck?

Has anyone ever had an accident in a rented box truck? I accidentally hit the gate when I was leaving a facility once. The gate and fence was leaning at a 60 degree angle so I slowly backed the U-haul into the fence post to straighten it out. It worked pretty good. There was no permanent damage so I never mentioned it to anyone. Thought I got away with it. A few months later I talking with the facility manager (who was a buddy of mine) and he jokingly asked if I hit any gates lately.

I took a gate post out while backing into a pasture with trailer.   

Only accident in box truck was hitting the gutters/eve over garage door.  Friend said keep coming, keep coming, BAM!     No damage to truck but gutters were history.

Have taken out a few garbage cans but I saw them.  Was just to lazy to get out and move them....

I did once , luckily there was clean underwear in the locker i was cleaning out, and vinyl seats clean up easily

i used to try to limit myself to a few facilities for auctions so got to know managers pretty well. it was nice they'd let myself nad some other regulars use the box trucks for free as long as we filled them up before we brought them back. one by one someone had accidents and they all stopped letting us borrow trucks for free and with no paperwork
