How many facilities in your area allow payment with a credit card?

I would say around 20-30%. In the Houston area, there are over 70 Public Storage facilities which accept credit cards at their auctions.

around here in ny public storage does and uhaul does , every
one else cash only

Just public storage and no I won't use a credit card. I much prefer that the storage facilities take cash only. I would hate to see someone get carried away and spend more than they can afford and allowing credit cards can allow that.

you will be able to tell in a hurry as they would stop taking them

So far, I haven't seen a facility not take them. I'm guessing it's because they can take them for storage units, why not for auctions too?
