Is ANYONE Out There Still Buying Lockers?

Is ANYONE Out There Still Buying Lockers?
« on: December 28, 2014, 10:13:36 PM »
Just wondered if anyone on here is actually buying lockers anymore?  I have an auction in the morning but there hasn't been much talk about anybody getting new units.  Everybody change professions now?

I have a confession to make. I haven't bought a unit since August. Had to focus all of my attention on the sites. Hopefully I can get back to buying in the next few months.

Bought very few in 2014. Actually bought 2 in early December online. They were cheap but they sucked! Never doing online again...

I did 6 in dec but 12 in nov.  out of all 2 10x30s most were 5x5, 5x10's.  Nothing to write home about.

In a 150 room found $350 in cash, $200 in gift cards and a gold necklace that I scrapped for $250.

Other than that nada

also found about $500 in scrap , $1000 in tools, $1000 in wheels and tires, $1000 misc ebay items, about $500 in household yardsale fodder, and about $1000 in weapons, ammo, and music equipment. Maybe $500 in furniture. Was a good month, nothing spectacular but good.

I did end up with two today.  One had seven 22" rims and tires.....one complete set of four 22" x 9.5" rims that are in decent shape and four good tires so one good complete set and three more rims that have a lot of road rash and don't match.

Same locker also had a 46" lcd and a smaller lcd.

Other locker had an oak table with leaf and chairs, and a sofa, and a little bit of money and some garbage boxes.  Ended up paying $169.00 for both.  Should do okay on those two.

I bought 10 units in December. Nothing special, small money makers, one of the units is still a question mark; could be a gold mine or a shaft. One unit is going to lose money. I know, I know, after all this time I shouldn't still be losing money on units. It was a 10x20 pretty full, good mix of boxes and furniture. Turned out all the boxes except 2 where business files, paperwork, and family photos, and some of the furniture was broken and parts (top to a china hutch, no bottom).

Alright y'all I'm going to heading to an auction this morning. I'll post if I get anything and/or what the lockers are going for.   It shows 22 units but I bet there will only be 2-4 by the time I get there.

Ok I'm back.  Most of the lockers were going WAY to high. But I did manage to snag me 1 unit out of 11.
I paid $275.  So far I found a remote control helicopter almost new condition (but it has been use)with a price tag of $139.99 on the box.  Over 100 DVDs good titles.  A nice medium size breakfast table with 2 chairs great condition.  An entertainment center (press board). But still looks in mint condition. I might get $50 at the auction on it. A key board but really haven't looked at it just yet.    I will go tonight and work on the unit and let y'all know what else I find.   I think so far I should be able to get $600 or more but won't know until the auction is over this Friday. Will post later total income.   Ooh and there is looks to be about a 65" DLP tv I hope it works!!!

Hi all sorry I haven't posted lately.  Well went out and hit a storage auction today 2/07.   I ended up getting 4 small units and 1 semi large one that has a roll top desk in great condition.  I haven't got to look thru them today but will go process them tomorrow and will let y'all know what I find.
