Just what am I supposed to do with strippers costumes???

We've found strippers clothes in two different units now and frankly, I haven't a clue what to do with them.  I certainly will not put them in my booth at the flea market and I don't want craigslist costumers coming over for that.  I'm not an ebayer, but I think that is the only way to do so without ruining my (very family oriented) reputation.

What do you do with items that you know have value, but really don't want to deal with?  I mean.....I can't even imagine giving those to Goodwill.

And I can't even do it all in one lot as I have sizes small & extra-large. 

So what do you do with your stripper costumes?  Or are we the only ones who (continuously) find them?

Not see I was thinking along the lines of Alloro.  Or better yet - wondered if could talk my wife into them (highly unlikely).

Seriously - I know they will sell.  One of the members here who has a blog and is in New Orleans got a stripper unit and did well from selling the cloths she posted.  Of course they did the sales on craigslist and think also had some friends that stripped/danced.  Really depends on your area.

I myself would do the ebay thing.  Really no strip clubs in my area so craigslist wouldn't work to well I don't think.

If you do craigslist setup a dummy email and just have interested people email you and not give out your #.  Then meet in a neutral place.  Never know - you may find that quiet couple a few blocks down are into various scenes and want those cloths

How about hitting up a costume shop to see if they would be interested in buying them?

Of course you can also hit the popular street corners in the nearest city too. They might pay more than the costume shops. 

strippers  wear only pasties unless from utah then its just bikini. Are you sure you didnt find halloween stuff? Or is this stuff from your favorite strip joint due to the large amounts of info your are givining us?

Ebay not bad good place to get rid of stuff like that. Give it a shot Read the ebay stuff on here, But don't get discouraged it is paying off for us.

It's funny.....the last unit of the last stop on the caravan today was an obvious strippers unit.  A couple friends all looked at me like "ya wanna take this one?"......ugh......

My husband did talk to a couple regulars that said they do great with it.....think I'll see if they're interested in buying our two lots~

I'm with Money on the bible belt.  It's been strange for me.  I've only found drug residue in 1 unit, same unit had a Girls Gone Wild DVD.  Only porn has been in 1 other unit and it was taped from playboy.  Plus, only 2 sex toys (1 man / 1 woman) so far out of over a dozen units.

On the other hand - I have a stack of bibles I ended up tossing out with the porn as no one wanted them.  That just felt wrong.

This is a semi-plug for Rebecca but if you read http://storageheroes.blogspot.com/ blog you will see what they did with the stripper unit they got.  I know she sometimes visits these boards but not often.

Starting to get off topic, but I am amazed at how much transexual (folks with both sets of sex organs) porn I find in units. Must be a real popular underground/in the closet fetish in are society I did not know about.
