I've watched a few of his videos, he's funny. I emailed him awhile back trying to get him to join the forums and see if he wanted to advertise lol no reponse.

Yeah, same here. No response. I guess he just got to big for his britches. Perhaps you should start the next email with "Hi, Glendon, we are interested in purchasing 100 of your books". Bet you would get a response then.

That's one of the best things about this forum or my blogs & websites. If you want to ask us something, most of us are glad to help you out.

I ordered Glendon's e-book on "Storage Auctions, A-Z" and found it to be quite insightful. The business plan section was very helpful. Basic guidelines and very easy to understand. Either way, Mr. Cameron's experience as well as the others in this forum definitely supplements my knowledge base on a very insular industry, in my opinion.

How much was the ebook?

Hiya Movieman! I paid $29.99 for the 2011 Silver Edition. The same book in hardcover is between $42-45 on Amazon and other places. I read the first 100 pages or so in an evening and the remaining 100 + the following day. A very good read and quite entertaining. He had some typos but you have to get past that in order to grasp the key concepts, I think.

Those aren't typos, they're Ebonics.

Typos, Ebonics, Hillbilly english, what's the difference? Someone can speak and write in a dialect from another country but as long as I understand the general concept and meaning of the individual's message, that's all that matters to me.

Frankly, I'm very grateful that some of the subject matter regarding the industry supplements my knowledge and general curiosity.

If someone had a book on how to fix the economy do you think the book would have all the answers or just what most people lack? (COMMON SENSE)

I got his book, its a good book all in all. Specially catered to those who only got a spark of interest because of the shows. Some of the info in his book is what I feel is common sense, some things I already knew. However I did learn a few things, some of those things I put to practice now. Was planning on getting his garage sale book as well, just have not done it as of yet. However I do not attend his University Pod Cast he is doing for storages. That I would think is not worth the money, but then again you never know till you try. I however will pass on the Uni.

Thanks for buying the book. As for common sense I watched new people come out for 8 years and not do MOST of what is in the book, shoot I even know people who had more time in the game than I did who did not practice those methods.

He has a lot of great videos!  He has a lot of information and insight on running a business that apply to businesses other than just storage auctions.  Lot's of common sense ideas and straight talk.  He never says the storage auction business is easy....he stresses over and over that this will probably be the hardest work most of you have ever done.  He also touches on staying out of debt!  Well worth watching his youtube videos, and the price is right!  Never have bought any of his info though.

Thank you very much , I appreciate you watching!!!

Some of the videos are quite entertaining but, some of the advise shows his limited thinking. I think the videos can be a good educational tool for a new person in this business; however, there is plenty of other free content out there. Take this forum for example.

Now to  you and your " soft" racism,  yes that is exactly what it is you little scared *****! You assumed that I would come on this forum  under cover and sing my praises, you are about as stupid as your avatar , you dumb big dummy. I have no problem calling you out!  I will speak on your website and services , to the point of  just how effective and worthless they are! Yes, if someone wanted to buy a hundred books I would  DEFINITELY speak to them before addressing  your dumb ass, please believe.

Don't get me wrong I watch Glendons videos, I think he's a good speaker, has some interesting storeis and even some good tips however for the most part it's all common sense type stuff and he seems to have more stories about people, interesting units, and experiences more so than actually offering advice. He does give some great tips on using craigslist, etc, etc, etc.

Thanks  for the props I am a capitalist, I made no bones about selling the good stuff from day one, sincen 2009 question for you, if you had GREAT advice , EFFECTIVE advice,  advice that makes people MONEY, would you just give it away? Honestly if you could make a six figure income from that advice would you just "give" it away? I think we both know the answer to that question! LOL Thanks for the love!
