Yes, I know...it depends on size, quality, etc.  I'm just asking for the average price you pay.

I'll be heading to my first auctions in some years on Tuesday. But when I was into it going back 4 years when I stopped, I only brought $500 with me. My average buy was about $200. But back then that would buy you a lot of locker. Don't know with these new shows fueling new interest what to expect really.. I'm still only going to bring $500.. easing my way back into the business.

i have paided 50, 60, 250 and the highest 275 which was a good one.  I seen them go at all different prices.  For a 10 x 10 I would say 400 if it is full.

So far for 2013 my average is a "jaw-dropping" $775 per unit!  :-\  :'(

Of course it is tax rebate season & new years resolution season, so I expect that average to drop as we move through the year.

I say new years resolution season cause my theory is along with people being instant "hundredaires" with their tax return checks, they also resolve themselves to change thier lives with the new year so I think many try to start a new business, start a new livelyhood, start a new hobbie, or just get thier butts of the couch, thus the HIGH prices in the Spring at auction.

Did a quick look at my records and the average price for units in past years is as follows:

2012: $430
2011: $220

Hopefully I can knock 2013 back down towards $500 average. I know 2012 was more expensive due to my bidding strategy but I wonder if some sort of natural inflation is creeping into the unit prices?

Off the top of my head I would guess the average to be in the range of $500-$600.
