Yes, Alloro, there are many reasons for doing so.

I used to buy & sell to support my family. Nowadays, I buy storage units for extra income and to get things that I want or need for free. Of course, the thought of finding hidden valuables is what drives me.

I do it, I do it, I do it.  for the fun and cool finds.  My wife aways tells me that I don't make anything money off of them, but that is only after the money is in the account.

I buy now to support my family. I used to buy as a hobby.. Now it's my job.

Because I can't sing.

Because unlike my previous soul-crushing occupation as a civil servant, it's always different and affords me a degree of independence. Also it allows me to diversify from my other business.

to make money, as a hobby, love the mystery of what i will find, find cheap things to give my gf lol.

i used to buy more to make money, now days its more just a hobby, finding cheap thinsg for my home or for diy projects, my gf likes picking through my scraps and taking things for herself

Saw the hoarder shows, thought it would be a great way to accumulate lots of stuff.   

I could say to make money but the reality is we love the treasure hunt. The money is just an added bonus.
