Hello, doing this as a hobby, Ive only been to auctions on the "american auctions" website, are there any others out there for sourthern california?  I know theres more, just not sure where to look.

Welcome to the forums! I'm sure ther are a ton more auctions in that area. If you are willing to pay for the info I thnk there is a list for California storage auctions that has been around for awhile storageauctions.com I think? If you don't want to pay you'll just have to scrounge through legal ads of smaller newspapers in the areas you want to attend and find them that way.

Yes, do what virtually everyone else here does...look in every newspaper you have available to you. Check the legal notices every day for a month or more. You'll find auctions to go to.
