Just a couple of girls trying to break into the scene. One of us is a recent Marketing graduate of UNF and the other is a part-time waitress. We both have plenty of time on our hands and feel this would be something we'd both love to do! Our boyfriends and roommates are all interested in helping any way possible and one of our fathers made a ton of money from storage auctions last year.

So with a bit of guidance, too much research, and a passion for going through other people's old crap, we're hoping to turn this into a good source of (at least) supplemental income, perhaps growing into a full-fledged thrift store in the future. If you have any pointers, they would be greatly appreciated, positive or negative. Thanks for reading.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your plans. It sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders! You can definitely supplement your income and or turn storage auctions into a business. We look forward to hearing more from you.

So what made you choose the name Gentleman Jack? Drinkers?
