Technically Mike found us. His a big boy and can make decisions on his own. And yes, radio does reach more people during the broadcast; however, this forum and every post made on it will live on infinitely. After several months, these posts will reach far more people than the few hundred thousand a radio broadcast will reach.  ;D

Uh, that would be Salt Lake City (as in Utah) where member BWD111 resides.

Sorry, I have just never heard of Salt Lake City referred to that way.

I don't get to Utah as often as I dream of being there.  ::)

Hmm, lockdown? Did a little prison terminology just slip out there?

I think the producers of Storage Wars started doing background checks after the Jerry Simpson incident. He's clean!

I didn't say you were. Hmm, but you did get defensive kind of quick. It makes one wonder... ;)

after the Jerry Simpson incident.

Bunch of crap if you ask me. I don't care if he does or does not have a record. In the here and now he was working an honest job trying to make a living.

He always defends himself quickly. There's nothing wrong with that, it shows self respect.

This is what the LockDown means. By the way started way before the show came out....

Lock It Down!

Operation Lockdown is a unique clothing line that was created to reflect a way of life. Molded from a lifestyle that seeks to have nothing hold you back from your goals and live life to the fullest, our brand's main focus is to depict this in the apparel we create.

Our trademark logo quietly depicts our intense desire to achieve. With a quick glance the skull and the chain have a hard appearance and is easily misjudged, but there is a significant meaning within them.
The Skull

Memento Mori is Latin for "Remember Death" This phrase was believed to originate from an ancient Roman tradition where a servant would march behind a victorious general as he paraded through town. As the general shined in the glory of the cheering crowds, the servant would whisper in the general’s ear: “Respice post te! Hominem te esse memento! Memento mori!” = “Look behind you! Remember that you are but a man! Remember that you will die!” In today's society our culture is devoted to perpetuating the lie that you can stay young and live forever. People do not like to talk about death as it is too depressing or morbid for our "think-positive" ways. We use the skull (death) as a motivator to live a good, meaningful, and virtuous life. Not morbid, rather motivation to quit wasting your life on meaningless things and start living the life you want NOW and lock it down. In the past artists created paintings, sculptures, and mosaics depicting skulls, skeletons, and other symbols of death to motivate the living. Our apparel serves as the modern day motivator.
The Chain

The circle, the never ending shape symbolizing the circle of life. It is there to reinforce constant progression. A subtle reminder that we are here for a limited amount of time and life will go on with or without us. We can sit passively for the ride or we can take control and lockdown the life we want with unbreakable determination. The chain is only as strong as the weakest link, don't let your drive to achieve be the weak link of your life.

Designed with a purpose, easily misinterpreted, the logo defines the methods behind Operation Lockdown.
