I hear you when it comes to your concerns I had the same ones when the original SW aired. Everybody thought going to an auction you were instantly going to become rich. Rookies which I like to call them have no idea the time and work that goes in to buying storage rooms. No need to be star struck I am a normal dude just like you except I somehow ended up being on TV doing what I do anyway. As far as people living in the rooms in Manhattan not so much. When you head to the South Bronx well that's a different story. You see all kinds of things down there.

I have to admit I’m a little bit star-struck right now!

There one in every crowed. :P

LOL ....that's so funny I won't even make fun of your grammar, punctuation or spelling.  ;)

It kind of reminds me of this:

This must take up a lot of your time.....now not only do you still have to go to auctions and do clean out and move and sell stuff, but you probably have show obligations and all kinds of people contacting you!

It's really not that bad. Other than having camera men at the auction it's biz as usual.

That's okay, just typing nyuk nyuk gave me a mental image.

So is there any kind of schedule for the filming or is it a random thing?

My wife wanted me to ask you if any of the other regulars have gotten frustrated that the crew was filming at an auction?

It is pretty random. Not sure if it really bothers anybody else.

I've been to a taping, and for the most part people are intrigued. It's interesting to watch what goes on behind the scenes. The people who don't want to be on TV or who don't want deal with auctions that take longer than normal because of the filming, will usually leave if they see cameras.

I know Walt Cade listed where they were filming on his website, does John Luke do the same?

Mike, did you know Joe P before the show? Is he the main whale in the NY area or are there others buyers with just as much or more clout?

I have battled with Joe P a few times before the show. I hate to swell his head even more but he is a Legend. Everywhere we go somebody knows him. There are a lot of big time players in NY that spend a boat load of cash every day.

imagine hester or that other kid coming in here to hang out with the "Folks" ROTFLMAO!

Yeah that would be bad. I don't think I could be courteous to him if he started throwing his attitude around.
