Funds Being Held by PayPal

Is PayPal holding your funds or do you have a rolling reserve on your account?

Why would PP be holding your funds? They only do that if a buyer filed a complaint. If the investigation goes your way the funds get released, if it doesn't they go back to the buyer.

PayPal still holds my funds because I am new.  It usually takes a couple of weeks for it to show up.

I just upgraded from PayPal standard to PayPal Payments Pro. They're holding 20% of my sales for 90 days. I think it's a fraud prevention measure.

If you do over 250k in a month its like 90% sure your gonna get a temp hold or reserve placed on part of your account. They do some wierd things about certain product categories as well. If the items you sell are deemd high risk or lots of counterfeits like purses for example they'll often temp hold some money. It also happens for new people. One other nice piece of info, if you accept credit cards throught eh virtual terminal or email your not covered bythe paypal buyer/seller protection

I dont know about all that but last three buy-it-now transactions I've done they've done an eCheck so payment to buyer was delayed by 3-5 days.   

Why?   No clue.  I had PP funds and account is linked to debit car and credit card.

I was pissed.  Paid BIN and overnight shipping because I needed item NOW!   Then PP delayed payment 5 days.   Buy the time the payment went thru I didn't need item.
