Sounds good to me. I think we each have our opinions about the business and they are sometimes at odds.
Basically when I say something negative about auctioneers or property managers it should not be taken as a blanket statement. There are good ones and bad ones...same as with buyers who don't go by the rules as opposed to those who do.
I think because of the tv shows' popularity there have been more recent incidents of staged lockers as an example. This may or may not involve the lkr renter AND the prop manager or auctioneer, but it could.
Well, there would be no shortage of material to critique AND it might be more profitable than buying lockers !
After I read the first- I skipped most everything elseBut there is a recent auction/ auctioneer up around danbury who is bringing his excess trash / dead inventory/ slow movers to a couple of storage places. He is advertising on auctiozip as a" storage auction". Bidders beware- this seems to be a really ugly trend.
Ps- i'm both a baad spella nd bad smella, and typin' on my ipoop doesn't help.

Forgot to mention your lack of proofreading in the post noted above in red. As I'm sure you know it's "it's believability".
My spelling error exacerbated (look it up) by your lack of an apostrophe making "its" into the contraction "it is".
Well, anyone who calls someone else out on his spelling should certainly do a bit of "proof reading" on his own posts...or is it a case of "do as I say, not as I do?".
Also, we could put it to a vote here as to who has more "believeabilty"... you or I...or is it "you or me"?
Turned in any "miscreant" auctioneers lately .... or for that matter, people who go faster than the speed limit or talk on their cell phones while driving ?

I've been hooked on shows like storage wars for awhile now looks like there in San Diego tomorrow. So I am going to try to go. I still have not been to one and now my Boss has decided he is going to hold an Auction and just clear out our scripps ranch show room and warehouse. Its my job to advertise for it but every where I look its a storage auction or public auction I'm not sure what I'm supposed to call this type of Auction. I did set up a website to advertise for it watkinsnetwork.com but I cant find just like a regular site to post the auction I found one but they have been inactive since last year. Any ways any tips would be greatly appreciated. Either on the site I made for it or on how to let people know in my area. I'm in San Diego Ca by the way. Thanks in Advance.

Well as an Auctioneer here are several things that I see in less than 3 mins on your site
1. start time too early unless you are gonna offer preview the day before
2. needs more pics of items up for auction
3. you need to proof read, you have a misspelling!
Alrighty~so I had over 400 albums listed on craigslist for $150 (yes....I know I could have piecemealed 'em out and made more, but who has time for that?). Ran the ad....nothing. Ran it again and Butch called me. I knew immediately I was gonna like this guy, deal or no. I had listed the ad so as not to mislead and I told him some of the albums (and covers) were trashed and others were mint. He replied "yep. I'll bet the Pablo Cruise and Herb Alperts are mint, as those of us who grew up with rock tended to be stoned and didn't much care how we treated our vinyl!"
Anyway the guy gets here this morning (he lives about 80 miles away) and immediately shook hands and said he got a good vibe from us. We talked about how we acquired the bulk of the albums and he got real excited and said 'I'm your vinyl guy! any you get, you call me and I'll buy!' We continued talking auctions, drugs & vintage vinyl, of which he partakes in two and I two, though not the same ones. He finally said the deal was done. Never tried to haggle, although I would have come down a bit, just to move them. And voila! a great new contact has been made!
You know, with all the flakes that craigslist attracts, for every ten you get one Butch and that makes it all worth while!
Every time you make one of these ridiculous responses you reduce your credibility around here. If you plan on sticking around you might want to take a step back and try and grasp the concept that you're not making any friends this way.
Enough people have pointed out that you're off base and yet you still you keep trying to fault the buyer. Perhaps its time for you to stop talking and start listening.
