But you are correct the picture dont show inside but do show speedometer and to me they are hiding something and when I called they would not answer about the interior.

Yep, doesn't show under the hood, doesn't show the interior...except for the odometer. I think it had to be a conscious choice not to show the dash, seats, etc. That certainly is EDITING (staging) for effect.

And if it was simply a mistake not showing the interior or under the hood, what does that say about the competency of the auctioneers.

In my area they let us walk in to the unit, walk around the car, open it if unlocked, open the hood and the trunk. Try that on an online auction. Can't be done, especially if they don't show pics which to my way of thinking would be obvious choices to make....UNLESS it would reduce the $ amounts that would be bid !

Forgot to mention that unlike the regular box lockers we buy, in my area if you can go inside and really look at a car, you can certainly TOUCH it. That would answer the question about what the surface of the car in question here is like.

Yea, I did good selling a large box of Dungeons’ and Dragons stuff.  Made really good on it, sold fast. On the last order to send out, some guy in California had no problem paying a high shipping on a few books.  Well to play it forward and keep good karma on my side I loaded a large flat rate shipping box full of stuff.    I almost paid for the entire unit with one box….

That's great....anytime you can bring in over $300 in a week's worth of listings, that's a good week. Only wish we could do it week in week out without a hesitation, but usually doesn't work that way.

Now that the locker is almost paid off, squeeze out the profit with the rest of the stuff.

I think you posted this same question in three threads...2 for sure, so I'm answering it everywhere I see it.

1) I will never buy an auction online.
2) Buying decisions are not made solely on the basis of smell, never have been never will be.
3) I wouldn't buy the car you showed in the link even if it was here in California and not in UT. I am not a car guy.

Yep, the bloom is pretty much off the rose but I believe there are two new episodes tonight, Monday, March 25, 2013 so I'll tune in and see if that's the case. Then apparently SEASON 4 starts on April 16.

Nope, I recognized the first few minutes of the first episode tonight. It's old. Looks like April 16 for new ones.

Plus you have to pay for the online convenience of buying online. It like buy all your food at a convenience store, you pay more and its a waste

Travis.... I think BWD means one might pay more for an online auction lkr than if it was bought at a live/facility auction. That is ONE of the aspects you promote isn't it...that the facility or auctioneer or both will get better end results by doing an online auction ?

"Almost everybody" would have worked or "most people know" would have worked.

Use as many in-exact word choices as you like. I was just commenting that you said everybody knew and I was responding that I did not know. 

The auction online auction would begin before the auction date and end on the auction date.

Like I said...maybe, I'm just dense, but the single line above straightened that aspect out for me. I still have questions about the process, but I went to a piece by piece auction for a couple of hours and I'm going to take a few hours off here to actually do some work !
