Also make sure he words his listings differently.

I was banned .. 99.8% positive for shipping late during HURRICANE SANDY .. ya know when we didn't have power for 3 weeks.. they immediately banned me and removed 100+ listings.

I set up a new account, new pay pal ..etc. and was given the initial $5k authority.  I listed 3 things and it said that my wording in descriptions was similar to a banned account and that they would temporarily suspend me while they investigate.  3 hours later that account was locked and all my new listings were removed.

I loathe ebay and pay pal.

if I could buy rooms, take the goods and leave the garbage and then get my money back I'm in!

this sounds like chaos but I would like to check it out.  Nothing in my area like that.  Uhaul in Long Island is still normal auction

Ok I just checked out the link.  If you are selling units, you are not going to hit one restriction but many.  For example in almost every room there are used clothes, used makeup, prescription drugs ..etc.

You will have to inventory the entire room and remove prohibited/restricted items otherwise when someone makes a complaint and states that they bought a room that was filled with prescription drugs ebay will boot you.

I would be concerned about people cleaning out the unit and then disputing the purchase to paypal and getting their full refund.  I've sold items, specifically an appliance for $750, had it tracked to the buyers house, had confirmation that they signed for it and 2 weeks later got an email from the buyer stating that it wasn't working because he accidently left it outside in the rain for 2 weeks.  A case was then opened up stating that the buyer never received the item.  Somehow they sided with the buyer and I was hit with the charge back.  Pay pal/ebay monster is the worst.

I was told today a guy hit $8k in scrap copper in a 10x30 under tarps ... just filled to the brim.  Thats the closest I've heard of any "precious" metals in quite some time.

144
Are you going to let them pay via paypal because if so you might as well pull the posting right now.  Also I agree that this cannot be legal in the US obviously not sure about UK.

last bid i saw it at before it closed was $2500.

I've seen rooms alot smaller with alot more junk for alot more.  If I was in the area I would have probably taken a shot on it, bundled the items up by type and sell them wholesale to buyers with thrift stores.  I would also donate retail $3,500 to have the write off for purchase plus labor/moving costs.

I think there was $10k of value in there.  New/retail was probably $40-$50k.

Also just because its laid out like a flea market doesn't mean there is no mystery.  Not everyone knows what you know.  There could be a statue, pottery, painting ..etc. that he has at $10 but could bring $300 on ebay ... or there might not.  mystery.

They might never do online sales or craigslist and just hope for the walk thru traffic, as it appeared to be set up like a store.

No matter where you buy there will always be a certain level of gamble.

majority of my money is from day job.  One year I was hitting gold room after gold room so I beat out my day job by a significant amount.  Sadly gold rooms are few and far between these days.

What happened?  I'm still interested in the point of this one.

For the most part no however she comes to the higher end facilities because of previous good finds.

As a result she has learned the ropes and sometimes go in my place when I can't make it.  The last room she got for $400, against some serious buyers/whales, we sold the contents for around $10k.

I taught her well.

The Lounge / Re: Amazon Drones Shot Down

I ordered a filter for my fridge off amazon and when I went outside today the package was on the roof of my car.  I just assumed a drone did it.

I read it twice and still haven't figured out what the question is
