Definitely not dying down anytime soon around here...30 registered bidders (avg 30-40 past two months) and I'm guessing well over 60+ "other people"....had to be over 100 total for 12 units.

So my question is just to get some other peoples thoughts on why certain people have 2 separate storage units....but at 2 totally different storage facilities?? What do you guys think the person is doing/has done. They are about 2 miles apart and aren't related.

They have (2) units at one of the facilities and (1) at another...would they just store personal stuff at the (1) unit or could it be stuff they didn't want the other person to find. Guess I'll find out in a couple days! Just seeing what other people might think....

I guess I want to piggy-back off this question and ask, are any of you in this full time and still passing on 50 lockers to find the ones you want. If this is the case, how do you manage to not buy a locker for such a long period of time financially?? Have you owned your business that long already that you can pass them up. I am just asking this as a new guy coming into this full time....

I go in knowing what I am looking to put into the unit. If the other person feels they are running me, then I let them feel good for that moment...until I hit my limit and walk away. I have actually dumped a unit on a regular known for bidding people up $25/pop. So I let him hit me twice and when he finally thought I would go one more time I simply walked away....so he got stuck with the unit $75 more than he wanted to.

He may have acted as though he wanted the unit, but the people there knew he thought he was just giving me a run for my money until I walked away. I will always go to my limit on lockers, but it will definitely have to be a great unit to even consider putting that extra $50-75 into it. I may be a newbie, but I'm not an idiot....needless to say, he doesn't consider running me anymore.

this statement x1000....my partner took me for crazy money and then declared bankruptcy. So I was stuck with a big chunk of the debt even though I left the company to them. Partnerships are very difficult to survive, but I guess if they do it can be a good thing...

I would say 50/50...definitely a reality to it considering they have shown/people have visited Dave and Jarrod's store, but at the same time, got to have some kind of entertainment where I believe the scripted part comes into play....around this area, if someone were to get into someones face like Dave/Jarrod that one episode, cops would be on the scene, because someone would have gotten punched in the face...There are some characters at the auctions around here, but they would need better scripts to actually turn it into a tv show.

no doubt a home run in my opinion...sad thing about it here is that the same locker would go for $1200+!!! I'm still waiting for a really good one and when I do, I'll post it here!
