Sounds good, except for the guy who cant see to well. Just remember that may be used to his advantage, obviously, at least to me, he buys good lockers, then he aint to blind :)

Put it this way. PODS cost alot more money and a schedule for them to come by drop the container, you load it, usually household items, but are also known to have a stores inventory, then they come back pick the container up, sometimes move it (kinda of like a moving company). So chances are if you are paying more money, and have to schedule drop off and pick up the chances are there is higher quality stuff, and not loads of trash say if you were getting evicted. Top it off, PODS and other container auctions have not exactly hit the public masses just yet. So less competetion. :)

Those are teh auctions I love. Sadly reported though they dont have them here in my area often. And the last time they were going on I was suppose to go, but some other RL issues came up that I had to deal with, which prevented me from going to that Auction. From what I hear from a few of the vets, is that it still not alot of people showing up, but prices do got high, since alot of high end stuff is in there. I need to find that numebr again so I can call them see when the next one is in my area.

How did they get the winners name?

I am going to start using fake names. Last thing I need is the looser who lost the locker calling me trying to get stuff back.

Most of the time using a fake name will work, there are cases you cant use a fake name though. For instance if they ask to xerox copy your Drivers Lic., or if you are using a sales tax permit. In the latter case, use your company name, if you have one, and always use a disposable number to give to the storage facilities. They are not suppose to give that information out to the tenant, however some do give it to them, and then there are other ways that the tenant can get that information being sneaky and what not. I use a google number myself.

Ya - my mother already said she will help me with a yardsale.  Of course she keeps adding to my yardsale pile also.  Now I just need some time to conduct one, nice weather, and a good location.

Yard sales in general can be a pain, unless that is your location is a good location that can generate alot of traffic. Just like with anything, its all a numbers game. Generally every 5, sometimes 10 you will have one or two buyers. The more people that come to look, the more money you can make. Good Luck

I would also have to agree, being well prepared by bringing 2 grand is a little much for newcomers to bring. Get experience with the sales part of it first. Then be prepared with as much money as you can bring.

honestly, nothing they are worthless, just send them to me. :)

Honestly I really dont know, best advice, since it also depends on condition, is to take it to your local coin collector stores. I know there is one here where I am at, so there might be one near you.
