Hey guys, some of you guys who been around here may remember this piece, I asked about it several years ago on here. Still havn't sold it and still not sure what it is or value but figured since we have so many new members maybe someone knows something about it.

A Mexican at my flea market would pay $20 for it but that would only be if he hadn't read Cobia's analysis of it.

Only saw the last 10 minutes of one of the two new episodes tongiht (1/8/2013) but will catch them later on reruns.

I did see the two girls get an estimate on an Icom Ic7000 ham radio. Expert said $1K.  Checked eBay. New ones for $1200 but one  sold at $1K and another was at $600 with a few days left.

Have already decided I won't spend as much time on reviewing any of the shows. Interest is waning for me.

This is an interesting scam.

Sell people a list of "likes" to boost their profile on Facebook. Here's an npr article on the business.

And here's what Facebook feels about it:

Think about it.

Movies....Total Recall (1990)....Total Recall (2012)  Same title, basic theme but variations.  In that case they probably bought the rights and tuned it up for the present.

In the case of the written word however it certainly would be (IMO) a matter of the bulk of the content being lifted from the original author's work. As Alias said...how many variations can you have of French 101, or Basics of Biology, or True Love or Dangerous Minds ?

Will be there in April and will hit an auction for sure

When we hear your report on that it will be one of less than 6 posts we have heard from Hawaii.

I have his picture, a picture of his house and of course his address. You make the other arrangements and it's a fait accompli.  ;D

This compilation of tips and tricks from un-named "experts" will turn your life around. Buy this book (digital copy, no cost to me) for $14.95 and you'll be well on your way to losing money in this exciting business.

As my friend P.T. said "There's a sucker born every minute". Join the group and learn the following:

1) One man's trash is another man's trash, but now you have to get rid of it.

2) Amazingly clean looking tools, electronics, etc can still be junk and not work at all.

3) Old tv's make great door stops.

4) Roaches will be the last survivors when the world ends.

5) Items magically deliver themselves from the storage unit to your sales outlet.

6) Boxes that are the heaviest contain clothing items worth a fortune at the Salvation Army store.

7) A Hot Wheel from 1968 is till worth $1.00 or less.

eight) All kitchenware knives in wooden block are not necessarily Cutco, but once in a while they are.

9) Art work in frames are cheap prints 99 times out of 100.

10) There is no easy way to get rich.

As an incentive to getting you to buy this book I'm going to provide you two FREE pieces of advice right now, right here !

Want to double your money in the storage auction business ?

Take a $100 bill and fold it in half.

Want to put a million in your pocket from the storage auction business?

Public Storage
Extra Space Storage

A-1 Storage

This probably happens more than we think.

I've never done it myself, but I know of people who used to do quite well with buying autos at auctions.

Is that still the case or has that like everything else taken a hit?
