You should be able to at least tripple your money on that unit.

I finally got around to check out the scale that i found in my last unit.
It was an Edlund DS10.

I checked it out, and the online price is $570.00 but they have it on sale for 425.99. Wooooohhhhhhoooooooo
That made my day totally. So i am now posting it for sale at $349.00 and i remind you, i only paid $170.00 for the whole unit.
Not only that, but i have tons of stuff still for sale from that unit.

What a freaking goldmine that one turned out to be. Potential sale on this unit are more then $2500.00

I have a rule of thumb to atleast tripple my money.

So far it has worked, and i try my hardest every day to maintain that. Your worst enemy is overhead and cost.  Be smart and keep your cost down and the overhead at a healthy level.

So far i have spent about 500.00 on lockers, and i have made 2200.00 And i still has a huge inventory left to sell.

It depends on the locker you get. some you break even on, some you loose money on, an some you hit the motherload of all jackpots.

One unit i got i paid 20.00 for, all that was in there was a dresser, and i sold it last night for 225.00

I am in Memphis,TN

Some of the older storage unit places has cinder blocks or concrete walls.
And the newer ones has metal.
And we have 2 places that are totally made with wood, lol.

I would say that in Memphis 75% of the places uses metal buildings.

So is it like they say, that there are more good stuff in CA???
Here in memphis where i am, it can be either hit or miss, and when you miss you miss BADLY, lol and when you find a good one it is never like you see on tv from CA. The best i find is new stuff like, car parts, jewelry, and furniture. Sometimes odd collectibles.
But i have never seen guns, pinball machines, jukeboxes, or any of the good stuff on tv. lol

If you are serious about this, and want to do it the right way, you need a a place to store things.
Because you will be sitting on stuff for a while, it will not sell the day after or that week.
So a place to store things you will need.
You could rent a 10x20 unit close to you, and put the good stuff in there. But this is a long term thought.

When it comes to transportation, stay away from U-haul, it will cost you more then you would like.
Use friends and family in the beginning.

Remember, in the beginning it is all about keep the cost down and the income up.
So stay away from huge overheads.
But you cannot be totally free of spending money either, so some investments you just have to make.
The best investment you can do in this business is to get a truck of some kind and maybe a trailer.
Then find your self a storage solution.

90% of the newbies will be gone in short time, just give them time to burn some money on a few bad units, and they will run to the hills.

Stuff like that can be sold for good money.

The porn distributor unit, you can make good money on. There are plenty og people out there collecting these things.
And it is like they say SEX SELLS!

Take it the stuff to an adult store and they will most likely take the good stuff off your hands.

Condoms are not worth anything, but posters, dvd's and new stuff that are wrapped in original packing should be ok.
