I'm looking at a auction schedule from destinyauction and one place in NJ has 70 units for auction. Is that normal or is that alot?
i have about 230 dollars for my first auction probably wont buy anything tho but im hoping thats enough if i do. i live in a gated community were we have a dump that we can use as much as we want , they have a fix rate that we paid one every 4 months in our dues. also my dad can get a trailer to us for free at work. so other the gas money i think i should be good. thoughts?
Confirming Extra Space is charging this 10% fee via StorageAuctionsUSA here in MA. Not to mention they cut the locks prior to the auction and I've heard rumors that the mangers look through the units to inventory them as well as take pictures. Its a normal practice, and depending on your state laws it may be required to do so.
I'm still pretty new with this, but I'm pretty hesitant about bidding on their lockers and so far I haven't seen many nice ones at their locations.
Fakes do have serial numbers & I've also seen many boutiques sell fakes. Your best bet is to join authenticforum & post up pics. There are many experts there that can & will help you.
Honestly, as someone just starting out, I'm hoping to get some items that will help me as I move forward. Handtruck, shelving for sorting/storage of inventory and I also want a rugdoctor type machine with upholstery attachments. Would be good to clean up any furniture I would get in the future.
Also, anything highly liquid would be great at this point. Precious metals, cash... anything to throw straight back into the storage bankroll.
I suppose I'm the only dude who wishes his wife was into designer bags... I'll figure it out somehow.
