Sounds like your rush to get in on the action (with no real view of the car to speak of) AND the wrongfully advertised date did you in.Jeeps in general are crap! Did you see big profit in this jeep? or were you just looking to buy and caught up in the excitement to have a story to tell people that you bought a jeep at auction?
We all make mistakes and on the positive side this will proably be the biggest one you ever make regarding auctions..in other words you'll be more cautious going forward.
Too bad though the engine sounds like crap; you might have still done all right.

A few years ago a fellow auction buyer bought a Ford Bronco (the bigger one) that looked pretty good. He got it for $650 had a guy work on it (and botch it) and took it to another guy for the real repair. All told he had $3,000 in it by the time it was done and I think that's what he got for it, or maybe $2500 !
In the interest of COMPLETE understanding, are the requirements stated above subject to amendment once the offer offically begins?I never use Craigslist. I use ksl.com which only Utah has this, this site averages 900,000 views aday
How do you tell if they are 10 year old tires?True but people owing 10 year old tires want to get rid of them
