depends on the facility some just want the stuff out , others want it swept

Buyers on the site are informed when there is a lien sale taking place online and at the facility. Buyers are also informed that they will need to contact the facility 1 hour after the in-person sale to find out if they were outbid at the live sale. Also, the storage facility can press a button and notify the highest online bidder that they were outbid at the live sale.
How do eBay sellers of store cards (like Home Depot) make any money on them?
I have seen Home Depot cards with a value of $200 sell on eBay for $180 as an example. The only thing I can think is that the seller of this card bought it from some hard-up person and gave THAT person maybe $50 to $100 for it and then is flipping it on eBay.
OR....person "A" buys it with a credit card for $200 (defaults on the cc payment) and sells the card for cash to person "B" for $100 and THEN person "B" sells it for $180 on eBay. Something might go wrong somewhere along that line for the crooks trying it.
Also check with storage facilities on their parking rates. CubeSmart around here just offered me a parking spot for $65 a month!
You can see an answer Mike provided in THIS THREAD in MESSAGE #112 above. That is in PAGE 8 of this thread.
Maybe MY math is wrong; I took $117 million in sales and divided by 6 million sales to get an average of $19.50 per sale.
Anyone want to try a third math calculation so we can get some consensus?
