What's it Worth?? / Re: Antique secretaries desk?
« on: October 29, 2011, 09:23:46 AM »
I have not looked at it too closely yet, what hidden drawers?
the letter sorter is missing two hidden compartment drawers. To each side of the square in the middle of the letter sorter... Wished I could get to mine I would shoot you a picture.

I would also add to you notify keywords: sale and storage. Having those 3 keywords auction, sale, and storage should catch most all storage auction ads in the legals
Thanks Drew, I get everything happening in my neck of the woods, legally... LOL
Storage works best... On the legal notice I have eliminates the cars for sale.

That wasn't Me , that was posted on the new Auction Zip Forum I just found , warning buyers , but no location given .
  Bandit
 Ps.
I would Never pay $ 600. for a locker showing old newspapers and a lot of crap  around a couple of pieces of old furniture , staged to look like all of an  elderly couples belongings .
Being a Negative Person does have it's advantages   ;D
I went back and read it twice thought it was you thank goodness it was not. And thanks for the warning. Got you on the negative when it comes to spending my money.. :) But I do have a lot of positive if I get dealt crap.  Our first and only locker most would think is crap. But I think we will do fine. Full of kids clothes counting it up we should do really good.

Then, the recliner appt didn't show up !  I think that was the first in about a year, but still a pain in the ass. Inconsiderate people.

they think you live there.... :)  I ran for I think two or maybe three appt's to sell my Aquarium (75 gal.) Left in our house when we moved could not bring with me... Posted it on my face-book and my cousin took it for free. I had to take it apart and deliver it... Oh well was glad she took it and my little fish.
With you on the D*** Banks and oil...

If you do this long enough you WILL get one like that, and maybe more than one. Even a very good examination  of a lkr isn't a guarantee.

I hope my time for the one or many is further down the road... LOL  But could be the next one... Was explaining to my friend (a blonde) what this is about, She said so it's like poker.. Yeah that's it... LOL

Man that is terrible, Think I would have taken all my garbage from home and filled it back up. No not really but I would want too. I would try and warn everyone I could so they want make any more money on junk. In my search for legal notices I found an Auctioneer that was being brought up on charges from the state auction board... Jotted her name down, and googled so not to attend her Auction's. Maybe you can report th Auctioneer or company, I don't know feel for you....

Went to this one on Thursday Central Fl. Not advertised only legal notice find in paper.
No Auctioneer, no refundable cleaning deposit, no buyers premium, Nice crowd about 40 people 20 bidders

5 x 10  Washer/ dryer Single wicker bed frame   $ 110
10 x 10 1/4 full with misc. office I don't know what not much in there.. $ 175 (had something my husband  recognized said worth around $300 if you had a buyer)

10 x 30 full of wood working, saws $400
Only a pool table (full size nice) in it and all the accessories $170
10x 30 full household $375
5x5 inside unit... casio keyboard in it and old monitors $80.00

and a 5x5 with mainly clothes in it for $30.00 and it is ours.
I am a noob but the prices were better than what I have seen
The managers said this crowed is dead, HAHAHA not bidding like crazy... Took for ever to get the bids going, the saw unit they almost didn't sell because the bid was at $50... They opened the other door and got more money. The crowed looked at the stuff oh I don't want to move that.... : ). So things look good here will now more next month with the more advertised Auctions.

The same to you may you get a room with a kuggerand in it! If that little bytch had not said those things here  I would have never responded, but when my partner died and I checked out for a few months  people started taking liberties.
Thanks :) Sorry for loss of your partner.. You are a go getter and find a way to survive no matter what Kudos to you.

It is clear you only read what you wanted to,Yes I did I am not a kiss ass and some of these comments about me were very offensive racially ( ebonics, ghetto) I guess those are okay???  And no it is not
You did light this thing up. Glad things are going your way. Others have posted how I felt. So want rehash.
And you are right sometimes you just have to ask for the money. Good luck to you.

welcome. I haven't gotten any spam yet, but I do opt out of "I want to be notified" button on everything I register with, with the exception of here... LOL
I found a nice legal notice website. Works for my area but when I try to look at other counties the list is nothing or very small. but works for me. Also our local paper has a notify me in the classified section of new legals with the word Auction.
