yep , in my area they only use them in places that cut your lock pre auction

on a semi related note
we had a huge flea market close about 3 years ago and displaced multiple hundred vendors (place had 1000 spots )

at my flea market I got in line at 11:45 pm on friday night for the first saturday of the year (they open at 7am) and i was already 17th in line :-[

they have since changed the rules to you cant get on line before 2:30 am as it was interfering with the movie theatre crowd

im just the opposite , i bring nothing but crap to the market and sell all the junk you would probably throw out

Im not sure how many days ill be going this year but in the past couple years ive gone every sunday it hasnt rained between first weekend in march and christmas eve 40 days minus rainouts

theres a couple of saturday only and sunday only
theres a couple more that are saturday and sunday
one is tues fri sat sunday

most of the ones here people bring their own, there are a couple where you can rent them mostly in the city where its not uncommon for vendors to show up in taxis

i have 6 plywood tables  and a couple folding ones too

the big ones around here used to 50 cents per person or $2 a carload, they are all out of business now , not because of lack of attendance but because the property got to the point where it was worth far more than the flea market on it

between 1 and 20-30 pictures depending on what i feel the item calls for, i upload one to ebay and the rest are in the html with photobucket

if im selling something decent Ill take a video of it working and throw that in there too

it wouldnt surprise me one way or the other , clothing can be very very hit or miss with me

ive had days where Ive taken in 200-300 off of one table , ive had other days where ive taken in $50 and ive had 4 tables full of clothing

my average day im guessing i have 40-60 sales (people not total items) average price per person about $6 -8

my stinking rent went up again this year to $85 for a spot per day (18x18 ) and im pretty sure im done with it on a regular basis , only going to go back as a daily 10 or so times a year at $100  :(

womens i bring to my consignment shop, mens and kids i get rid of at the flea 3-20 a pair, really nice stuff ebay
