about once a month I post an ad on CL  "I'll sell your stuff on Ebay / Craigslist".... basically it gets me consignments, they give product, I do listings, pay fees and the split is usually 50/50...3 weeks ago I get a call from an owner of a 400 room motel, he's renovated 300 of the rooms so far... the old furnishings are stashed floor to ceiling wall to wall in about 40 rooms... 20 CL listings ( beds,TV's,bureaus, mirrors, etc.) and 2 yard sales later  ... about 30 hours invested so far... I've got about 40% of the stuff gone, although the "split" aint 50/50 I'm making a killing...plus he's given me 2 empty rooms to place & sell my storage items out of... life is good.

the website Home page says ... " Please contact Big Steve by phone or the email below asap to discuss remaining vendor opportunities" .... Then there's an email form... also a twitter form ... yet NO Phone number... guess that big guy isn't as dumb as he looks... can you imagine the nasty calls he'd have to deal with?  :D

Possibly an inventor's prototype... a "FLOATING TV"... great for cramped areas, small spaces , space saving,,,, and at night you could place it over the entrance door as part of the "ACME SECURITY and ANVIL COMPANY" CEO Wile E. Coyote

I bought a locker Friday.. a womans apartment..nice furniture , kitchen cookware & accessories, clothing of course ... and .. several NEW in the box adult toys ... I sold everything except the toys within 24 hours... I'm a top rated seller on ebay and have an excellent reputation.. I do NOT want to list any items that need to be placed in the "Adult" category... my question is How Do I get Rid of these 6 items?? any suggestions?

I picked up a ton of items on a recent roadtrip , and have had really nice sales #'s the past 3 weeks... having just read your post, I went and checked fee percentages and yep they're down a bit.. so .. with my top rated plus discounts still working for me, my sales up & all these free listing promos going on, I actually feel like ebay actually is starting to understand that gouging the sellers may not be the way to go anymore

Wow, This looks like an absolute winner! .... Congrats ... Hope you make a ton of $

eBay / Re: Appropriate amount of time

yep you guys nailed it..the seller was lazy... tracking # starts as soon as ya print label... then slow walked it to tha post Office...I do gurantee / next business day shipping on all my items most stuff sent priority,,and when I go to the P.O the next day I always get them to "swipe" the label bar code, which actually starts the clock running, and get a receipt with time/date stamp... then I contact buyer and say "it's on the way at 9:30 ( or whatever)... my customers love that communication

Thanks, Cobia, for the info..like I said I'll mostly be up there to pick up stuff from consignment deals... so I'll go real light on the storage auction stuff, I'll pick a day that has tons of auctions spread out ... no need to go up against big hitters,so hopefully they'll be at other locations.. thanks again

I saw a 200+ year old book in a music store about Napoleans 2 favorite architects.. Charles Percier and Pierre Fontaine,.. they were the creators of the "French Empire Style".They designed the Arc de Triomphe and  in the 1790s became leading furniture designers in Paris, where they received many commissions from Napoleon and other statesmen.
The book contained 70 individual detailed prints of various designed pieces, on extremely lush paper with each having an clean bordering with aged patina..Helburn & Hagen; Reprinted edition (January 1, 1801)... after googling and ebaying it..I found a near identical  book that actually sold for  $175.00...even better individual pages were sold for $25.00 to $40.00 a piece... music Store owner sees me researching on my iphone says.."I'm tired of looking at it, gimme $60 bucks " ... I was an owner, didn't even counter offer..... so with dreams of $1500 + I list many, many different individual pages....End result, six months later.... ZERO PAGES SOLD... finally listed the entire book for $75.00 ... got an offer for $39.00 (including shipping).. took it,hated it,laughed about..o well go figure..next!
