I pack a lunch and tons of bottled water in a cooler.  I am in Texas after all and it gets really hot.  Though lately the RaceTrack in the Dallas area offers a free refill cup that I have been using for tea and water. 

$3k reserve tough for that unit.  The buyer took a lot of care setting it up but it would be a massive amount of work and no mystery.  Nothing amazing will be found in the unit.  Still Travis is right you can defiantly make a profit but imo its to high an amount to tie up your money.  If you have a huge bankroll and a store then it would be doable.

With you my friend.  It will be a small one.  I think I can get a good deal at my local storage facility.  Just need to get back from a trip this weekend.

Still crowded and high prices but less knowledge.  They are a lot of looky loos and the pros are specific on what they want.  I usually can still get in a steal or two a week. 
I am working on selling my inventory before I go back out.  I have made a few good scores and now need to make some space and clear clutter.
I am going to try my first online storage unit as a seller in a week or two.

yep we were looking at the same one.  I assumed they would not sell so trying to figure if it was worth scrapping.  Figure it was going to go for a steal.

Recently I discovered scrapping and it is a great way to supplement your finds.

Scrapping Direct TV and Dish Network receivers. 
Of course if they are not active than you can sell them on eBay but honestly I have never found one that is not on an account.
Looks like there is not much that can be done from my recycler.  I keep all the cables of course and I hear the access cards has some gold in them.

I have had some good success but here is a story of the usual crap in a storage unit.
When the door opened I saw stacks of boxes of new items.  The writing on the was Colours - Cinnamon or Colour Copper
I took a chance and got the 10x20 for $300.  I could also see a couple of boxes of elliptical machines and a Curio. 
Well the stuff in the boxes was hair dye shampoo from a salon that is now out of business.  The elliptical machines and curio says "returned"
Luckily there was a nice vanity and wooden dresser. 
But also there was an ancient exercise bike that is at least as old as me.  A typewriter and tons of junk.  This woman was a hoarder and must of bought stuff at auctions etc.
Going to be a lot of work.
