New to Storage Auctions? / What day of the week is most popular for storage auctions?

How common is it for storage auctions to be held on weekends?  I only ask because I have a job.  It requires me to work quite a bit during the daytime.  I have plenty of time on the weekends. That is if it isn’t football season.

Does it matter where the storage units are?  I mean, are some locations better than others?  For example storage units near a highway vs. being near downtown?  What about units that are near shopping areas?  I’d like to know how to get the scoop on what may be in the units.

That’s a whole lot of beer.  It’s in my neck of the woods too.  I could use a lifetime supply of suds.  Though, my liver would probably disagree.

I reckon that would make selling a whole lot easier.  Especially if you had some kind of business where you could already sell your stuff.

Let’s say you buy a storage unit that has a car in it.  How do you get the title for that car?  Can they refuse to give you the title for any reason?

Do we have anyone here that does it totally for a living?  If so, how long have you been doing it?  I have to admit I haven’t even begun yet.  But, I’m planning on starting real soon.

I see from watching TV that some people specialize in something.  For example some people might be into antiques.  While others may be into items they can resell at their thrift store.  Do you specialize in any types of items?  If so, what are they?

This is what I don’t get.  Do you rent a storage unit to put the stuff you win in?  I live in an apartment and I don’t even have room for a Chihuahua.  I’m not sure where I’ll put my auction stuff.

I live in Austin, Texas.  I’d like to find storage auctions in my area.  Though, I understand that I’ll probably have to travel to some.  I’ve seen Storage Wars Texas.  So, I know a thing or two about this business already.

I’m from Austin.  I’ve lived here my whole life.  I’ve never even thought once about moving.  Though, I know I may have to do some traveling to go to the auctions.

I’m a big fan of Storage Wars Texas.  Can’t say I’ve ever bought anything form a storage auction before.  I reckon that’s going to change here soon.  It will once I learn the ropes from everyone here.
