First, I'd like to say Hi.
Secondly, a little about me; I currently live in N.C. although I am originally from P.A. Up north is where I began going to auctions. Went to my first one almost 15 years ago as a teenager. ( I wasn't old enough to bid myself, so a cousin of mine was my partner)  I was buying lockers off and on for the better part of the time, although I did do it for about two years full time from 2008-2010 then stopped to go back to trucking.
After 5 years of driving a truck over-the-road, I am getting back into the auctions, full time. I went to a few auctions last week just to see if much has changed, and it hasn't really overall. Except I noticed the prices were still a bit high as they were in 2010 when I stopped. I agree with the posts on here that the T.V. shows are reason.
Last week I bought a unit full of refrigerators, stoves, air conditioners, deep freezers, washers and dryers. I could tell by just looking at them they were mostly junk. (Most were torn apart and/or missing parts) The guy that owned it, had an appliance repair shop that went out of business. No one wanted the work, so I got it for 75 dollars. I cut the copper out of what I could, and just hauled all of it to the scrap yard. I scrapped all of it for just over 1400 dollars.
Thank you for having me here and I'll be sure to post some pics later on of what I find once I go full time in a couple of weeks.
