Any last minute pointers????

Don't get in a bidding war !!!!   ;)    My biggest one is don't buy what you can't sell.

Good luck, 65 lockers is a lot..... Take a lunch and plenty to drink.

Looking forward to your post of your adventure.

Nice find Alias.

Hate when I find those things that are just really cool. They end up hanging around.  ;D

EDIT: OH God I am turning into Movieman.... LOL    ;)

Found a Bond Knitting machine @ thrift for $5.00.  First look on ebay around $55~100 not selling ~ now selling for $25  ::). I would wait until the cooler months to try and sell. But anyway got the thing to work (operator not machine ;) ). So I will use it to make braided rugs and can sell those.

Not a great find but a find.

Movieman letting out some of my secrets.. LOL don't think I need to worry to much about a knitting machine.  ;D

Great Story there teacher.  ;D

Only good one I have for this last Friday sale is a lady picked up this cheesy plastic party tray (I was tired of lugging it around. (did not fit in a tote). So I gave it too her. she picked up a few of my .25 items. So when she was ready told her $2.50 for all of it. She handed me $3.00 and said it is going to be hot today.  :D

Oh and did some clothes trading with the thrift.

Like your clean up idea.  ;)

Rockin sounds good. Miss you around here. But glad things are really working for you.  ;D

I two managed to get to the thrift parking lot. Sales not so great had a lot of my previous customers so that was nice.

@Movieman got what I took so was not expecting high return. ;)

Did manage to rearrange the stored stuff in the van. I had to put the tables in too. (husband had to work so on my own).  Did manage to hang with the thrift owner. (she is so positive, really). So she got me motivated to get two of the Chester drawers down to her she had people looking for them.  Did not feel they were good enough to take down there.

Well after working in the sun for (felt like all day) maybe an hour and half. Got two of them cleaned up and they were better than I thought. So got those loaded and down to her on SAT. Was so tired from the heat had to take the drawers out to get them in the van.  ::)  Starting to see our storage floor again.

And Movieman you need to count Why can't we have the statistics of what color hair your customers have.  ;) JK  Good luck with your ~~~~~~~whatever.  ;D

@ craig that is how I will sell stuff.  box of stuff for $5.

Had one of those huge ziploc storage bags (used) filled with a few matching lids and bowls the rest was just misc, lids a mix and match sold for $2.00.

I call my husband a thief when we go to yard sales. He will throw out a price I would not even consider, he usually gets it.  If not he just walks away.

@ Cobia I got a price reduction because I knew what something was.  ;)

Husband had told me about his parents use to can there food , metal cans and seal them in a 55 gal drum full of boiling water. We went to an antique / art sale and I saw the caner. Guy was impressed I knew what it was, husband did not know what it was.. Anyway he knocked $10 off. Sure he was tired of lugging it around pretty heavy.  ;D

We have a SS bait bucket, it gets lots of looks. Asking $10 (cheap) lady offered me $5. No thanks. Worth having on the table, people stop and look.

squeezing that rubber chicken in that one episode.  I waked  by Brandy and said morning, little snot didn't even respond and Jarrod said , 'good way to get knocked out brother', so I just dropped my chicken and said, 'Knock me out jARROD, here I am, knock me out?

Not sure I would have acknowledged a guy holding a rubber chicken either.  ::)

LOL

With Movieman of enjoying the 4th.  ;)

I think 2 reality shows are truly real Pawn Stars and Swamp People, hard to fake wrestling a gator but i do find it hard to believe the only kill spot on a gator is about the size of a quarter because with the boat shaking and the gator flopping around

I can verify that that is true.  ;)

Oh and I do have some swamp land in Fl I could sell you. LOL
