General Storage Auction Talk / Re: Beer & Cigarettes - Legal to Resell?

Of course different states, different laws.
If this happened to me, I would probably visit independent combo gas stations / tobacco outlets and see what could be worked out.
Since I'm not a smoker, I don't know how age and storage conditions would affect cigarettes.

Yep, 2016 was a really bad year for me as well. Won't go into details. Trying to make this year better but the "game" (storage auctions) is still tough.

No cable for me either, but a friend told me things are a little more realistic now. Showed them buying junk units for less then $100

It depends on how much I have invested, if the unit the item came from is all ready in profit, & whats the most the item will realistically bring compared to how much storage space it takes up. A standard piece of furniture that wont bring $50 or more is gone after the first run through the flea market. The more space it takes up, the more inclined I am to chit'can it.

Generally, tax season is the best time to sell furniture, especially your nicer pieces. Tax season was really flat this year for furniture though. Don't know what's up with that.

Yeah, in the "good ole days" I use to shred or burn important documents. Now, like everything else we, see so much of it & time is money so it just all goes in the recycling bin. More & more facilities don't even want to take back the personal items. There is only one chain that asks anymore to leave the personals & half the time or more I forget to do that. I never have a manager ask me about personals i've forgotten to bring back.

Uh, where I live that's a negatory. You can "gift" them though.

They make mattress and pillow covers that are anti-microbial. The better ones claim to be bed bug, lice, mite and water resistant. I have one on my mattress and my daughters mattress. They're a little pricey, but worth the investment if you have little ones.

Using a dumpster without permission is a felony in most, if not all states.

Didn't know that. We have way to many laws in this country. Give it a decade and we'll see people being arrested for their thoughts.
