Just in case some storage sites you frequent takes credit cards, keep in mind that this goes into effect on Sunday 01/27/2013

http://www.foxbusiness.com/personal-finance/2012/12/27/could-soon-be-paying-checkout-fees-for-credit-card-use/

Note that these check-out fees are illegal in: Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Texas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts and New York. Also, these fees do not apply to Debit Card use.

When I was living in California, a lot of the convenience stores only accepted debit cards. If the transaction was below $5, the would charge a 50-75 cent fee to cover their processing fee. Considering that most merchants pay a 20-25 cent transaction fee plus 2.7% of the transaction amount, this seems fair.
