Yes, that makes sense but I'M the one who commented on the "producer/agreement" comment...maybe you were addressing BOTH of us, or MAYBE  everyone's medication was taken at the wrong time !

I see, I should have made it more clear who I was talking to. The first paragraph was directed at Ronin.

The middle sentences were to MM. Your edit cleared things up.

The last line was directed at Ronin.

Whew...This much confusion in writing...can you imagine if we were actually having a conversation.

Well, I think the nature of the call was pretty obvious. I sent her an email asking her how I could be of assistance; however, I haven't received a response. Maybe she was just trying to get a free copy of the Dallas auction list. LOL

I spoke with Natalie Knight who is a line producer for the show. I think she runs a company called Nat Knight Creative although I couldn't find any information on the company itself. On her business card, it says A&E / Storage Wars.

All I can say is that the general consensus of storage auction buyers in the Dallas area aren't too pleased with them filming there. They're really pissed off that the show is bringing out newcomers and that their area is going to be at the center of it all.

I was a professional storage auction buyer until these shows came out, believe me, I understand their frustration. I was also in real estate when the housing market collapsed. There is not much you can do about these things except step up your game & evolve.

And with all the new people starting this auction buying makes me wonder why I ask why do they want to pay retail for whats in the units? The reason we all buy is to make money and get a great deal,but you can't make money paying retail. PEOPLE STOP PAYING RETAIL!THE POINT ISN'T TO SPEND ALL YOUR MONEY .Its our job to make you spend all your money.lol

Can I get some clarification?  You state that the auction was cancelled, but they were filming there.  Strange.  Are they simply buying all the units up, cancelling the public auction, so they can film with their cast and extras instead, and if so, is that even legal to do?
  If it's supposed to be a public storage unit auction, one would think they'd have to leave it open to the general public.

I believe there were only 3 units listed in the public notice and apparently every paid up last minute so the the auction was canceled. Everyone was just hanging out. They were doing some interviews and some shots of the cast leaving the facility. I don't believe they're running some kind of scam but I do believe that they do overpay just to get a unit when they need to.

When I talked to Bubba from the cast of Storage Wars Dallas, he said that the show will premier in December, but does anyone know the specific date?
