Buying Magic: The Gathering cards

Buying Magic: The Gathering cards

Hello, I'm buying all Magic: The Gathering game cards that you find.

My goal is to save you time, which IS money.  But you like finding treasures and getting paid for them.  Ok, I've got a pricing plan to reward your good luck:

When I find value in the cards you sell me, I'll increase the amount I pay per card for the next lot you sell me.  You earned it; you were lucky to find good cards.  The opposite is also true; a bad lot will decrease the next payment rate.

I start buying at $0.01 per card.  The better luck you have, the more it goes up.  I'll pay the shipping to me in New Jersey.

The goal is for you to quickly get paid for your cards without spending the time researching them (which I already have).  For a 30-minute post office trip, you can get $20 for 2000 cards.  Compare that to hours of online research and eBay sales which may get you $50 or $100.  I'll even purchase by the pound or linear foot to save you from having to count them.

Contact me by message on this forum.  I look forward to rewarding you for finding good cards.  Good luck!

In eight years and having bought over 350 lockers, I have found 100 Magic cards (in one locker) and that was about 4 years ago. But I'll start looking harder !  ;)

From what I've seen, people usually have at least 1,000 cards.  Collections can grow to 20,000 cards over 5-10 years.  That's why I'm hoping if someone finds Magic cards, they'll find at least 1,000.

I plan to offer kickbacks when the lot I buy from you has a high value.  It's an incentive to keep you watching for those shoe boxes, long white card boxes, and flat square white card boxes.  I'm an honest guy and with a profitable enough lot (ie: $100 profit; that's good for Magic cards), I could afford to send a bit back to you guys.

Thanks and good hunting.

Where were you six months ago when I had 500 of those damn things?  ;D

PLease start collecting pokemon, yugioh, & beanies babies too! I need a good outlet for that stuff.

I know I have some old cards somewhere, some that were fairly cool and I suspect now have some value. Of course, I can never find those... the only ones I seem to come across are the commons.

Then again, they may have some value, too, considering age and such.

It'll be a little while before I start digging around for them,  but this thread has me thinking about them again.

I just keep putting all the collectible cards up in boxes and such.  I have no idea of the value for most or all of the different cards since I've not collected any of them in years.  I still have old Magic cards (ice age and such), NASCAR, Baseball, and such.  Found comic, baseball, football, and basketball cards so far.  Nothing that really caught my eye as anything of value.

I did sell the last of my Pokemon (small case - 25 cards or so) cards that were Japanese last time I was at the flea.  Use to make a killing selling those cards in my friends shop many years ago and these were the left over dregs.

One of these years I'd like to inventory everything in way of cards and comics.  Make it easier to find individual cards and sell lots / rares.  Working to do this with all the World of Warcraft cards I have now.

What cleaning aids do you use to remove “magic marker” from items?
