I buy foreign currency, new or old. New stuff to resell to people travling old stuff thats collectible. It's not uncommon to find old foreign currency in old bags and suitcases. Let me know what you find or post a pic and maybe I'll buy it off you.

I just got a British 5 pound note tucked into a picture frame corner (in the front).
Compare this to the $1300 or whatever that Darrell found in the back of a picture on Storage Wars.
But then, mine is a real "reality" find.

I'll be going through an airport in a major city in a month or so and should be able to find
a currency exchange place for the wide variety of foreign currency I have been accumulating.

If I can find them, I have 2 Sadam Hussein bills.

I have other foreign when I come accross the lockbox they are in.  A lot from Eccuador before they were Americanized, a little from Portugal when I was in the Azores, and lastly some Yen from when I was stationed in Japan.

If you are interested, I will try to locate them.  Just shoot me a pm.

I have a lot of boxes still packed from when I came home from the Navy, 8 years ago.  They will be in there.  It may take me a little time, but when I come across them, I will let you know.

I just found a purse with $315 Honduran lempira if you're interested. I know that it's worth 1297 Japanese Yen or 19500 Iraqi dinar.   :D

Ive got a jar full of coins.  From Euros, to German marks, francs, pesos.. name it.  I probably got it.  I toss my american currency into one jar, copper pennies into another and then all the foreign coins go in one.

Hit me up, I'll get the jar down and take some pictures of it.

Did you know that Santa Claus is on U.S. currency?
