Is the government shut down effecting your business?

I live in a Military town with lots of government contractors. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it, but Craigslist sales have been stagnant for the last few weeks.

Today at the auction there was a TON of people! Furloughed government employees looking to make a quick score on a locker... Prices were OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Don't bank on that. I have two friends that are not at work but still getting their paychecks.

I don't know if its due to government shutdown but CL has been dead.
I can only assume people are being frugal with their money until things aren't so uncertain.
Most, if not all, of what I list is "want" items, not "needed".   Need to keep an eye out for things like bread makers.  Appeal to people's idea of living cheap......
