We have 1980 members on this forum, However since I been here I can very well count my fingers to the number of active users. The rest cant be spam can it? How come there is not more post?

I hear ya Movieman and I don't want this site to go that way either. I have been doing Internet Marketing for the last 12 years and learned the hard way about Spam & every site is a bit different.

The format here is really good and I , like you would like to see it stay that way. Nuff said!

In another little "hijack" of my own, I hope Drew never institutes an opportunity for "live chat" in this forum. Given the nature of some of our members (including me) I think it would be a disaster zone in live time!

There is a delicate balance between spam and blending the marketing in with useful information. Like for example, if I were to mention that www.storageauctionblog.com has recently gone live and I would appreciate your opinions on how the site looks, this would probably fall into that grey area.

Nope, not selling a thing. Just good reading. Hopefully the site will be supported by Adsense. I wrote this article smashing on the guys selling storage auction "get rich quick books". You outta check it out.

I like to plug things from time to time so I don't have much room to talk but I was laughing when I first read this post. This isn't spam...lol...kinda like saying "with all due respect" when talking with someone. Your basically prefacing something disrespectful your about to say...lol.

I have been better about my inclination to spam though. The old me would have said visit freestorageauctionlists.com but you know what, I'm not going to do that.

BTW TCLANE, I read a few of your post, like what I read, so I will be reading more later on, bookmarked, you should also add a subscription or RSS Feed at the least.

I cant elaborate to much on the RSS, but as far as subscription, it is not a way for you to make money on, but a way that will automatically let your subscribers know there is a new post. Hence if you are making alot of post should mean it will equal more clicks to your site. Which is good for some adsense.
