If you plan on renting it for some time, you might want to put up some shelfs as well. That will help you out even more, and it will give you maximum storage space.

I plan on doing that, but was going to wait till i need to rent a 10x20, this one is only a 10x10

Looking good! Does your facility allow you to sell from your unit?

I used to let tenants do it sometimes, especially if they seemed half-sane.

Oh ya, the facility lets me sell out of my unit. They knew why I got the locker to begin with. They were a little upset that I started to bring customers directly onsite, but quickly got over it seeing that if I dont get paid, then my locker dont get paid for.

I did the same thing...but right now i just started and only have a little inventory left from my first unit. So its a 5x10 with a dresser, nightstand, couple boxes of misc...and the like lol. I will have to upgrade sooner or later but for now ill go cheap cheap

I plan on renting when I get a inventory.  Have a rapport with the a local storage guy(rented for 2 years there and always had my rent in 2 weeks early.  Guy trust me and when I went back to get his locker pricing he recognized me instantly(been gone for 2 years).  I have sold out of the facility too.


IMHO, pay your bills early and act sane and you should be just fine.

sounds good, but right now my locker is feeling a lil empty. Got a little less than $300 worth of inventory left.
