Flask/Shot Holder Etc

Flask/Shot Holder Etc

I wanted help finding/pricing the first item, and what you would sell the second item for. It seems to be a flask/shot holder. Has 4 small 'shot glasses' with removable top. It was non-magnetic.

What would you sell this for? Seemed to have a slight magnetic pull, like a stainless steel.

The second item is what I talked about in another thread.  Assuming its plated and no markings that its on of those 1/1000  brands that is looked for.....no one wants it.  I literally couldn't give the stuff away.
I mean, list it and maybe you'll get lucky that someone is having a wedding or something and wants it but I had no luck.   You'll see those at every goodwill and thrift shop in town selling for $10-$25.
Just be sure to look for stamps or any markings.  There are a few brands that even tho they are plated they are worth a bit.

Now the first item.....

Tell us more.  That looks interesting.  I can't tell much by the pictures.
What's the metal?   Base metal?   Any markings at all?  Weight? Dimensions?

Im on the fence.  Parts of it look like it could hold some value.....other parts look like it was some cheap tourist Mexican metal work or liquor promotion item.

i found a wm rogers tea set that looked similar to yours and it was worth squat(plated). In the same unit i found a silver water pitcher that was worth $300+ just in scrap(925 silver). make sure to look for markings to see if its silver or not, those things weigh a ton, its $300 or so in scrap if its silver, and its nice enough to where you could get $100 or more over scrap price depending on condition.

No markings at all on the shot holder, weighs a pound or two - about 6 inches in height at its highest point.

2nd looks interesting i'm going to say $150-$225 range

Real silver has a slight magnetic pull.

Get it tested at a we buy gold place or get a scratch kit from ebay.

2 lbs of silver will get you around 2k

You can't even get $20 an ounce right now for sterling so 2 lbs would be $640 on the high end. Not $2000. One of us did our math wrong.

I can't find a thing on this.
Is the entire thing metal?  Or is the cap plastic?
Can you tell what it's made of?  Base and top coat....

The entire thing is metal yes. As to the type of metal I'm unsure. Parts of it have a tarnished look like a silver / silver plate. Not a single thing on it was magnetic, from the base to removing/inside of the cap.

Hey thanks for the effort! I'm going to take it to one of those silver/gold places and find out if its the real deal soon enough. I've been trying to search for it in different ways/names. One old lady mentioned it could of been for saki (sp).
