Ok, this morning at 7:45 AM (Pacific time) the online user count was at 275. At 7:48 AM it dropped to 31  which is far more representative of its TRUE nature over the 2 year period I have been a member here.

Something is rotten in Texas. Beyonce's lipsync has nothing on this phenomenon.

Ok, for WHATEVER reason the guest count went from 573 to 43 during the one hour period from 7:43 to 8:43 (Pacific time). I think the servers are safe from a regular overload.

Not quite sure I understand what you are saying in the quote above, but maybe that's where innuendo gets its name.

Why not ask him to join in...he is a member here afterall. He could say "thanks, but no thanks" or he could say "yes" and make the forum ratings go up !  ;D

Nope, just looking at who was online and it showed it there, not in the actual stats area.

Dropped from 70 something to 53 in 5 minutes. On track to go below 1 online in next 10 minutes and right now there are 4 registered users online. It's magic.

8:03 Pm Pacific time and there are 111 guests and 3 users on line....MovieMan, Travis and Alloro.

I'm going to keep tracking this as I think the number of users online is going to go to -172 !  ;D

As far as the locks being cut before buyers arrive....in my area that is the norm. It is VERY, VERY, VERY unusual for them to be cut at the time of the auction.

On the plus side, if STAGING has taken place it's obvious and the regulars won't bite most of the time.  I don't even go to that kind of facility anymore.

This week there are auctions Wed, Thurs, Friday but I go more for the socializing than anything....very careful these days to be a picky buyer.
