This is the link to one of my neighbors store, he deals in old armed forces merchandise and he may even be in the mood to purchase if you have what he is looking for. Good Luck Mr. Andersen

I give a report on it and I just saw another for Wed. not sure if I can get the time off to hit both though. Humm maybe I'll just come into work late on Wed. !!!! We'll see either way I'll give a report on one or both.

Thanks for all the input guys, I think I'll stay away from PODS right now as I only have storage at home for 10x20. So with the lkrs that I have purchased my space is limited.

I did do some checking on PODS and found I can either rent or purchase one to put on my property and expand my storage space. My wife seems to think it would be best to purchase a POD, I think she's hoping I'll let her use some of the space for her extra storage, which I would do since it was her idea. LOL

Thank You Mr. Andersen, so I'm guessing these could be filled with not only a home, but could also have a business or products in them?

I noticed we have a POD Auction in two weeks, and I have never been to a POD Auction yet. Has anyone here every done a POD Auction? What to expect? Are they worth going too? Are they too much of a gamble? How did you do with your POD?

Wow sounds like that lkr had potential depending on whether or not there were tools in the roll a ways, other wise it could have turned into a big loss!

Craigslist / Re: Lots of "no shows"

I live in the foothills and have the same problem with people from the Valley. Just loaded up the Lapidary Equipment on my trailer so I can meet with the guy that bought it. I hope he doesn't no show as he's coming from Napa/Sonoma area so he has a long drive. I'll meet him at the freeway to make it easier for him.

Yeah these are the ones that keep us going, not a lot to throw away. I donate most of the extras to Goodwill and had to throw some in the dumpster at home. But all in all good day.

The Treasure Chest / Lapidary Equipment

I took an extended lunch today to make an Auction close by and got a cheap locker $40 for a 3x5 not much in it but some cheap furniture and had mostly used household items in the few boxes. However in the back was a tarp over something and no one wanted to take a shot at it so I stepped up for the 40 bucks.

To my surprise it was a lapidary bench with wet saw/grinder/sander and lapping wheel. I threw it up on Craigslist @ 1:30 and had it sold for $350.00 by 8:00pm.
Not a bad day for a last minute locker.

The "Other" Job / Re: Sick of my job!!!
« on: April 06, 2011, 05:29:38 PM »
Is there really a dream job? If you are able to do something you truly love doing then it's not a job, otherwise it is a J.O.B. !! And those generally suck.
I've been working at the same place going into my 24 year SUCKS!!! ;D :o
