Craigslist / Re: Top 10 Worst Craigslist For Sale Ads

He didn't post it, I did. He thought it was inappropriate when I posted it, but I guess it's not when he posts it.
It's good to be the king !

The trend looks good but a couple of things I am thinking about:

1. What happens when "good" units start coming back online and all the regulars & store owners start fighting over inventory? (running the prices up).

2. Doesn't matter if there are 200 or 20 or 2 newbies at the auction, all it takes is 1 to get on my balls and run up the unit i'm bidding on!

3. Too many 2011 & 2012 newbies & some use to be old-timers snoopin' round to see if prices have come down. As soon as the "feel" prices are down, thet start showing up to auctions, bid, & run prices up again!

If all that is true and it very well could be....all the more reason to continue to look at alternative sources. That's been my focus now for the last year and especially in the last 4 months. I'm doing a lot more picking and searching out goods from other sellers, bulk and boxlot buys. So far it's been working and the time made free by not going to as many auctions has been used productively for that and other interests.

Here's the last 90 days trend for people searching on Google for the term "Online Storage Auctions".

980
I don't remember having done a trending look (in the past) at GoogleTrends for the internet interest in ONLINE STORAGE AUCTIONS, but now that they are more a part of the auction scene, here's Google's analysis of that search term.

In a recent NEW episode of SW, Jarrod says to Brandi something to the effect of looking for space for a new store location.

Since they had recently (within the last 2 months) opened their 2nd store I thought this was kind of odd until it occured to me that MAYBE, just MAYBE that episode with the new store mention MIGHT HAVE, just MIGHT HAVE been taped BEFORE their second store opened and THAT was the "new store" he was talking about. No way to really tell as the production company is taking all kinds of liberties with personalities and they way they are being presented right now.

Anyway, here's the link to the Jarrod/Brandi Facebook page which has a wide-screen shot of their new store interior at the top of the page. Makes it look wider than it actually is. I'm thinking TWO stores would be enough for them to handle.

Here's another take on the 3 cast members not being included in some upcoming episodes.

Slowly easing them out ?

Here's the chart for the same term "Storage Auctions" for the first 3 months of 2013.

A closer examination that the chart above. Big spike in early April. Must have been new episodes of SW.

Haven't done one of these for a long time, so here it is...this one generated on 5/2/2013

Looks like in the first 4 months of 2013 interest is WAY DOWN (we hope).

Two of the data points are right at the 20% line. Others just above that at maybe 25%.

*******

Sure, doubting Thomases will question the procedure used by Google, but can those same people provide something better that can be shown to the general public here on the forum?  Probably not.

Check out this cList ad for a gal who wants someone to spy on her "future" fiance.
I guess she EXPECTS to get asked.

Why not....lots of PIs get hired to do this...this is just the cList version.

The guy who posted this was trying to sell his dining room table. You might have to stare at it a while to understand why it's funny.

I won't give away the answer or the link to the first time you posted this. The newbies here might enjoy figuring it out.

Edit:  Looks like the original has been deleted, so everything OLD is NEW again !  ;D

California....
Central Valley, Sac Metro and some East Bay so far.

Welcome to the forum. You'll run into some familiar scenarios from all of those locations if you browse or search enough. Strangely though (considering how large our state is) there are surprisingly few posters here who identify themselves as being from the golden state.

Craigslist isn't the only place for oddball sales items.  Try these out.

I provide them here (not one at a time) but all together so you can choose which ones you want to read.
