I just watched there adventures in Las Vegas , if they researched the owners and they " Hit it Big " . Why is there locker filled with valuables being auctioned off for a couple of hundred in back rent ?
I liked the one with all the slot machines worth $ 8,000 , but they take $ 5250. cash .

As to the locker with all the guns in it , I really feel bad about Not inviting Brandon to My Rod and Gun Club  , I didn't realize that He knew His way around firearms , after the way he identified the firearms by make and caliper as Lori lifted them up , really impressed Me .    ::)
Her Lack of Firearm Safety Knowledge  doesn't surprise Me at all .
Too bad it wasn't a real machine gun , that would of been good for $ 10,000 and 10 yrs . LOL

Unfortunately , We are seeing this in the pricing at  yard sales , they won't budge on there overly inflated prices , " Because they saw something similar on ( Insert Show Name here ) and think it's worth a LOT more then the LOW price they have it  at .
Either that or they searched it on Fee Bay and thats what they are selling for.
When You ask them was that the Buy it Now price that it didn't sell at ? or the actual selling price ? You just get the Deer in The Headlights Stare as You turn and walk away .

eBay / Re: Anyone Burned on Fee Bay ?

We never had a problem with U.S.P.O. Money Orders and I would take one of them over Prey Pal any day . ( The Postal Inspectors are not leg breakers , but they get the job done )
My former neighbor ( other side of duplex / not the two on TV from across the street  ) took a MO on Craig's for a snow mobile ( I tried to warn Him ) and the bank took him to court for theft / fraud of $ 3800.

We find the show  even more UnBelievable then the rest of You .
As Brandon and Lori  lived across the street from Us in Mass. before moving to the Left Coast to work in a family run business .
I will say that they kept UPS busy with items they picked up  and  re sold on     E Bay , especially lap tops ,( He can fix them ). and  cars bought off Craig's , He did the body and mechanical and Lori detailed and polished them . and they flipped them on
Fee Bay .

General Storage Auction Talk / Re: Needing a loan
« on: July 21, 2011, 09:47:07 AM »
I can't comment on the loan part , but I think You might be in for a shock when You get Your quote for " Commercial " insurance on Your trucks and trailers ( they tried to restrict Me to 250 mi. and priced out a pick up with a 12 ft. and 18 ft. utility trailers the same as a commercial tractor trailer rig $ 3300.00 ?
Also don't forget about Your General Liability Policy , mine is $ 1300.
Here in Mass. and a lot of other states , if You use the vehicle to make money         ( even a trailer used to tow your kids go cart that they can win a trophy with ) that is  considered Commercial Use in there money grabbing eyes and needs to meet All the requirements of a Commercial Vehicle Registration .
Ex. ( My 18 ft Cam-Superline  flat bed car hauler requires a $ 129. DOT Commercial Vehicle Inspection every year in Mass. )
  It's this model = camsuperline.com/Trailers/Construction/5.php

We have gotten a couple of lockers in Ri. that had .38 bullets in the dressers but have yet to find a gun in almost 20 yrs. of Ma. , Ri., Ct. , and Nh. locker hunting .
Here in mass. , " with our feel good laws " , finding an Empty .22 Shell will get You 1 yr. for possession of a firearm component if You are Not properly Licensed .
Ps.

Sorry Your grandmother got burned on Fee Bay  the stories on there forums  by dealers being scammed for items not received  ( evan after they provided Fee Bay with the E Mail  where the person liked the item )  and the SNAD scam's that are growing every day .
You do have to read " Very Fast " as they are taking down negative post as fast as they find them .

I was just wondering if anyone on here has been burned on Fee Bay , at one of the local auction houses We attend on a regular basis , some of the regulars who were Raving about Fee Bay last Jan. have now been scammed out of there items and cash , one for the item and $ 1500. and have No recourse and really downing Fee Bay .
I know the scammed discussions are all over the fee bay community discussion forums , but this is the first We have heard right from the horses mouth .

Hit an auction Mon. july 18th on the Mass./Nh. border to see if the crowds are still coming out .
Yup , 35 or so bidders with only 5 or 6 real bidders there . One couple even brought there kids a guess at 8 and 10 plus Gram and Gramps pushing the baby , and they ALL had to file by the doors and look in .  ::)
Started out with 16 lockers , two from a contractor 1 locker filled with junk and used boards and an outside parking space with a ladder and a bunch of long old boards .( No takers )
Also another owner with three lockers ,one filled solid with used peg boards , one with short 1 X 6 boards and one solid with 2 X 4 framed walls for the particle board ( no Takers )
One 5 X 10 that when the door was opened  ,  cases of chrome plumbing fittings for sinks tumbled out , (went for $ 240 )and the door was wedged at 1 1/2 ft.
Others went for $ 400 to $ 800 ( one had two dome tents and boxes )
Best one with Arcade game and packed with neat boxes started at $ 500 and shot up to $ 2000.
I will see him Sun. and see what he got in His 4 lockers .
I did talk with the Auctioneer  and His show  with Alan and Ton in East Boston is airing tonight .
Only comment made by someone that was there , was that when the camera wasn't on Him , Ton was a chimney .

You can definitely run out of an apartment and a storage locker , We live in  Duplex with a very A*** landlord and started out with a 10 X 20 unit and a trailer hitch on our car.
We would bring the goodies home and sort them in the back yard for that weekends flea market , or trash run .                                                                                                                                                We now have two 10 X 30 contractor lockers W/ lights & Elec. along with a p/u truck , a one ton maxi van ,  a  7 X 12 ft. and a 18 ft. flatbed car hauler all stored in storage lots .
and only sell now on nice weather days    ;D

Craigslist / Re: Pirated photos?
« on: July 16, 2011, 09:50:33 PM »
My only concern with someone using Your picture is if it NOT a Real auction , but a Scammer selling something they do not have ?
This scam is really big on Craigs List , using someones  picture to sell stuff they don't have . Everything from apartment's for rent to You name it .
My neighbor got scammed out of $ 2600. over a snow mobile . ( I warned Him   ::) )
